Cadillac is expanding its lineup with the innovative and electrified LYRIQ. Cadillac has announced that testing of this new electric SUV is running head of schedule. This means that buyers can start placing their reservations in September 2021. The first deliveries are expected in the first half of 2022.

Electric Performance

Electric vehicles have taken on a new life and have become bold and impressive instead of dull and boring. The LYRIQ will feature a high-performance electric powertrain that will deliver an estimated 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque.

The battery for the LYRIQ is built into the chassis of the vehicle, like a skateboard design. This gives the LYRIQ a near 50/50 weight distribution for a sporty driving experience and a lower center of gravity.

Electric Range and Charging

Whether you plan to stay in Sherman, Texas, or drive further afield, the LYRIQ can take you there. When fully charged, it is expected to have a driving range of more than 300 miles.¹

With the available dual on-board charging package, you can charge at home with Level 2 charging. With a charging rate of up to 19.2 kW, this will offer up to 52 miles of range per hour of charging.² Publicly available DC fast charging will offer up to 76 miles of driving range in just 10 minutes.³

Interior technology

Technology becomes an inspiration in the LYRIQ. It comes with a 33-inch LED display that shows over one billion colors. This large display includes the infotainment touch screen and a digital instrument display.

Super Cruise™

The LYRIQ will be available with the advanced Super Cruise™ technology. This offers a hands-free driving experience on over 200,000 miles of limited access freeways across the United States and Canada. These roads currently include Highway 82 and 75 that intersect through Sherman, Texas.
