New Cadillac LYRIQ Looks to the Future as Well as the Past

The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ is the brand’s most futuristic new vehicle. But even as Cadillac’s engineers and designers have looked forward to develop this all-electric luxury crossover, they’ve also sought inspiration from the brand’s storied heritage.

For example, inside the LYRIQ, you’ll find callbacks to the different logos Cadillac has used during its history, including “merlette” bird shapes from the brand’s original 1902 logo that have been integrated into the door panels.

The LYRIQ also incorporates features like a cantilever balcony-inspired dashboard with small compartments for valuables and bags — very similar to upscale amenities provided by earlier Cadillac luxury vehicles.

Of course, the LYRIQ is also a vehicle on the cutting edge of what’s new. It boasts more than 300 miles of all-electric range, fast-charging capabilities, and thrillingly sporty performance via the Ultium Drive System.

High-tech highlights for the LYRIQ include a 33-inch advanced LED display, choreographed lighting sequences, and Super Cruise™ hands-free driving. It’s dramatically styled, too, with an illuminated Black Crystal Shield grille, a full-glass roof, and sleekly aggressive lines.
